In the spirit of giving that defines Ramadan, Dubai Basketball has launched a simple heartfelt initiative: “Every score becomes a meal, every ticket becomes another.”
Under its special Ramadan “Basket for Basket” campaign, Dubai Basketball will donate one meal to those in need in the UAE for every point scored during their EuroLeague home game against LDLC ASVEL on Thursday, February 26. Each ticket sold will fund an additional meal.
The effort is being delivered in partnership with the Dubai Sports Council and the UAE Food Bank, reflecting the club’s commitment to social impact beyond the court.
“Our ambition is not only to compete at the highest level in Europe but also to build a team that contributes to the community and supports the people who make the Dubai dream possible.” Stated Dejan Kamenjasevic, CEO of Dubai Basketball, the city’s first professional sports franchise competing in European competitions.
