French Montana has been wearing the Morocco edition of the KidSuper x BAPE SUPER BAPESTA, sharing photos of the pair on Instagram as the 2026 World Cup gets going. It is one of 48 colourways in the collaboration’s World Cup collection, with a shoe for every nation in the tournament, and the rapper has gone with Morocco, the country he traces his roots to.

The idea is simple but runs at an unusual scale. Rather than backing a handful of favourites, KidSuper and BAPE have made every team a pair, most pulling from national flags and others from team kits. The region is well covered as a result, with Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Qatar all getting their own shoe. Morocco leans on the red and green of the country’s football identity.

It doubles as a milestone for the silhouette. The BAPESTA turns 25 this year, and the project reworks the classic with patent leather uppers, KidSuper founder Colm Dillane’s eye logo set into the star branding, and a face graphic on the heel. Each pair carries its country’s abbreviation debossed at the heel, with the shoes boxed in action-figure-style bubble packaging.

The campaign leans into the people behind the flags as much as the football. For the launch, KidSuper photographed grandmothers from each of the represented nations wearing their country’s pair, framing the collection around heritage, community and the generations that carry culture forward rather than the game alone.
