Jordan Brand rarely looks to off-court influences for new Air Jordan colourways, but that is the case with the upcoming “Comic” Air Jordan 4, style code JA1135-100.
According to Michael Jordan’s namesake brand, the latest version of his fourth signature shoe is directly inspired by comic book culture. The sneaker features a simple colour blocking, led by a mostly white leather upper with black details on the wings, heel tab and midsole. The standout detail is the pop art-style design on the heel and the “Nike Air” branding on the insoles, while vibrant gradient accents appear on the modified netting and parts of the outsole.
The “Comic” Air Jordan 4 will be released on 25 July via SNKRS and at select retailers. The style will also be available in sizes ranging from big kids to toddler.
