Ray-Ban has named Jennie as its Global Ambassador, the brand announced on 9 April 2026. The appointment covers both the classic Ray-Ban eyewear line and Ray-Ban Meta, the smart glasses range the brand has been developing in partnership with Meta. It is the first time the two lines have been brought together under a single ambassador and campaign.

The announcement comes shortly after Jennie closed ComplexCon Hong Kong as the headline act, one of several high-profile moments in a period that has seen the BLACKPINK member’s profile continue to grow across fashion and music.

The accompanying campaign runs across two distinct visual directions. The Ray-Ban side uses deep red tones, a reference to Jennie’s full name, Jennie Ruby Jane, whilst the Ray-Ban Meta campaign runs in cooler blue tones. Three frames appear across the campaign: the Daddy-O RB2016, the Alix RB3781, and the Ray-Ban Meta Blayzer Optics Gen 2, the last of which does not yet have a confirmed release date.

Jennie commented on the partnership: ‘To me, confidence isn’t loud; it comes from feeling comfortable with yourself and expressing who you are in a quiet way. Ray-Ban has that same energy: simple, expressive and easy to live in.’

Jennie recently wrapped a six-month concert tour and has indicated she is lining up summer festival appearances, with dates yet to be confirmed.
