BIRKENSTOCK Introduces Two New Silhouettes LOMA and SOLANA

Two new silhouettes refine BIRKENSTOCK’s core design with hook-and-loop closures, updated materials, and the brand’s signature footbed at the centre.

BIRKENSTOCK is expanding its footwear offering with two new silhouettes, LOMA and SOLANA. The release builds on the brand’s established design language, combining its signature anatomically shaped footbed with updated materials, closures, and streamlined construction.

Both models are rooted in the brand’s long-standing focus on function and durability. The footbed remains central, designed to support natural movement while maintaining comfort for everyday wear.

LOMA introduces a closed-toe clog that builds on the legacy of the Boston, first released in 1976. The new silhouette features a more minimal upper, hook-and-loop closures in place of the traditional buckle, and a lightweight EVA outsole. It is available in Dark Tea and Cork Brown, crafted in suede.

SOLANA takes a similar approach within a slide format. Also constructed in suede, the design emphasizes ease and structure, with the same hook-and-loop fastening system for adjustability. The silhouette is available in Light Oyster and Dark Tea.

Across both styles, the hook-and-loop closure replaces BIRKENSTOCK’s metal buckle, offering a more flexible and quick-adjust fit while maintaining a clean, minimal look.

The launch is supported by the Hook & Loop campaign, set in a music studio in Cape Town. The visuals focus on everyday use within creative environments, reflecting how the silhouettes are intended to be worn across different settings.

LOMA and SOLANA continue BIRKENSTOCK’s approach of evolving existing designs through material updates and functional adjustments, rather than introducing entirely new forms.
