Lamine Yamal’s New adidas F50 ‘Heartbreaker’ Is Rooted in Catalan Culture

The Barcelona forward’s third signature boot takes inspiration from a beloved regional holiday

adidas have unveiled a new signature boot for Lamine Yamal, and this one comes with a story. The F50 ‘Heartbreaker’ is inspired by Dia de Sant Jordi, the beloved Catalan celebration of romance, culture and literature that falls on April 23. On that day, roses and books are exchanged across the region, and adidas have channelled that spirit into one of the year’s most eye-catching boot releases.

The boot features an intricate rose graphic blooming across a crisp white colourway, with the heel carrying a bespoke ‘Football’s Heartbreaker’ logo. adidas describe it as a playful nod to Yamal’s style of play; breaking defenders’ hearts and leaving a rose in his wake.

Co-designed by the 18-year-old himself, it’s his third signature boot, which says everything about where he stands in the sport right now.

The release goes beyond footwear. The ‘Football’s Heartbreaker’ collection includes apparel and accessories, with white-and-red colour executions running throughout, Yamal’s Barcelona-inspired emblem in bold red, and his two-word moniker stamped across every piece.

The F50 Laceless retains its FIBERSKIN upper, SPRINTFRAME 360 stud plate and sock-like fit, while options for grass, turf, and indoor are all available — in both elite and non-elite versions, and across adult and kids sizing.

At 18, Yamal is already one of adidas’ most prominent global athletes, and releases like this reflect the long-term investment the brand is making in him ahead of the 2026 World Cup. The positioning mirrors what adidas have previously done with Lionel Messi and Jude Bellingham — building a signature world around a player, not just a shoe. The collection is available now on adidas.com.
