Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson’s signature generosity, extreme challenges, and larger-than-life productions haven’t stayed limited to the United States —  he’s been making major waves across the Middle East as well.

His recent appearance at the 1Billion Followers Summit in Dubai (January 9-11) highlighted his popularity around the region. The event wasn’t without its share of spontaneous moments, though. During his panel discussion, he had an awkward run-in with two tall South Sudanese attendees that caught him off guard, prompting him to invite them on stage in an off-kilter gesture that quickly went viral.

But not everyone is fully convinced by his approach. Some argue that his high-budget “impact” projects can blur the line between philanthropy and spectacle, raising questions about sustainability and cultural sensitivity.

What started as small gaming uploads at age 13 evolved over the next ten years into the most-subscribed individual channel on YouTube, built on pushing the limits of scale — giving away cars, islands, houses, and millions of dollars in ways that became cultural events.

He’s brought that same mix of spectacle and storytelling to the region, filming bold, history-packed adventures in Egypt and launching a full-scale Beast-themed amusement park in Riyadh. Here are five standout moments when MrBeast truly “beasted” in the Middle East, delivering unforgettable experiences to fans across multiple countries.

Beast Land Theme Park in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

MrBeast opened “Beast Land” In November 2025, a temporary amusement park in Riyadh for Riyadh Season. Spanning 188,000 square meters, it featured over 15 rides and 14 challenge zones inspired by his YouTube games, including Tower Siege, Drop Zone, and Airmail.

The park also offered roller coasters, food stalls, merchandise, and what he called the world’s largest prize wall. With tickets starting at about $7 (SAR 25), MrBeast created an accessible, real-life playground that let Middle Eastern fans experience his challenges firsthand.

100 Hours Inside the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt

MrBeast pulled off one of his boldest stunts last year by spending 100 hours inside the Pyramids of Giza with his team. Guided by Egyptologist Dr. Zahi Hawass, they explored restricted chambers, including the partially flooded Tomb of Osiris and other normally off-limits tombs.

He even left a $10,000 golden Swarm collectible inside the Sphinx as a symbolic gesture. The team climbed a hidden summit of the Great Pyramid, creating a spectacle that renewed global attention on Egypt’s ancient wonders.

1 Billion Acts of Kindness Campaign in Dubai, UAE

Back in November 2025,  MrBeast partnered up with Dubai’s 1 Billion Followers Summit to launch his “1 Billion Acts of Kindness” campaign — a global movement backed by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives and the Varkey Foundation. The concept of the initiative is simple: creators worldwide submit their own acts of kindness, from volunteering to straight-up donations, for a shot at working directly with the YouTube titan.

Fast-forward to the summit, which ran from January 9-11, 2025, ten creators out of 177,000+ entries got the nod. Priya and Sid, Walid Elmusrati, Godfrey Wavonya, and others are heading to Ghana with MrBeast and a crew of heavyweight creators to build an entire village, complete with schools, clean water, and the infrastructure these communities desperately need.

Bringing MrBeast Burger into the Region

MrBeast Burger launched in the UAE — Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi — in April 2022, then expanded into Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Qatar by mid-2023. Operating mostly through ghost kitchens across the Gulf, the brand serves its signature smash burgers and crinkle-cut fries to fans in the region. It’s a straightforward cloud-kitchen setup: delivery-only locations that bring MrBeast’s fast-food concept to the Middle East without physical storefronts.

Spending Half a Million Dollars in One Day in Dubai

In his “$1 vs $500,000 Experiences!” video posted in November 2024, MrBeast showcased one of his most extravagant adventures, where he spent half a million dollars on luxury experiences in Dubai, including: visiting the Dubai Frame, racing in luxury supercars with his best buddies, skydiving over Palm Jumeirah, and staying in an underwater suite at Atlantis The Palm. The highlight of the videois climbing to the top of the Burj Khalifa, a feat only a handful of people have done.
