New Balance is giving Grey Days a local spin in Dubai, rolling out a 10-day programme across homegrown spaces nestled within Alserkal Avenue that places neighbourhood energy and community spaces at the centre of the celebration.
Rather than a standard brand activation, the experience leans into the idea of the neighbourhood as a meeting point – the places people already gather, create, move, and connect. By tapping into some of the district’s best-known homegrown spots across skate, art, coffee, fitness, and music, Grey Days becomes less about a single venue and more about the rhythm of the neighbourhood itself.

At Gooder skatepark, one of the UAE’s newest skate parks and fast-growing community hangouts, the ramps become the centre of Grey Days. The space will house the main retail hub alongside programming and DJ sets from local favourites Ben Palace and Friends by Karak Sounds.

Nearby, UrArtU Gallery, known for its bold floral installations, shifts into a hands-on workshop space, while The Workshop DXB, a go-to studio for screen-printing and custom design, hosts sessions where guests can create personalised Grey Days keepsakes.

At Nightjar Coffee Roasters, one of Alserkal Avenue’s long-standing meeting spots, expect limited-edition menu drops and easy social energy, while CRANK brings the movement side element into the programme with high-intensity CRANK Shape classes and exclusive Grey Days tees for attendees.
The Grey Days Neighbourhood Experience kicks off on May 1st and continues until May 10th across spaces in Alserkal Avenue. New shoes and apparel drops are rolling out on New Balance UAE’s website, to see the full calendar of release check our full debrief here.
