Walk into any café in Cairo, Dubai, or Riyadh, and you’ll spot it: that unmistakable shade of green swirling through lattes, dusted over soft serve, and finishing pastries with a café-counter glow. Matcha isn’t just having a moment; it’s become the defining flavour of a generation raised on aesthetics and food movements.
Now, Farm Fresh, the Dubai-based frozen food brand under GMG, is taking that energy out of cafés and into the freezer aisle.
Farm Fresh is taking Matcha Nuggets to Gulfood 2026 (26–30 January 2026) at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

As part of the Gulfood 2026 event, which is a food exhibition taking place from January 26-30 at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), Farm Fresh unveils what might be the most unexpected matcha product yet: Matcha Nuggets (yes, you read that right).
Think classic crispy chicken nugget reworked in a bright matcha green and finished with an earthy, lightly herbal edge. It’s designed for a double take, then a second bite: unfamiliar at first glance, strangely convincing once you try it.

Whether you’re hosting a watch party or just need something to flex in your group, the nuggets understand the brief. Built for how people snack now, it’s fast and flavour-forward, made to be shared the second the bag comes out of the freezer.

“Consumers are looking for food that fits how they live now: fast, flavourful, and shareable,” said Khaled Daouk, General Manager of National Sales at GMG, Farm Fresh’s parent company. “Matcha Nuggets bring a culturally relevant twist to an everyday staple, without compromising the consistency and quality Farm Fresh is built on.”
It may become a limited-edition cult favourite or simply the season’s most talked-about freezer drop. Either way, one thing is already clear: matcha has officially left the café and gone crunchy.
