Rap albums drop every day, b.
Well, not really. But sometimes it feels like it. Thousands of rap albums release during a calendar year. Sometimes the albums include extensive rollouts, packed with interviews and promotional material. Other times, they arrive as surprise drops — completely out of the blue with little warning. Sometimes the releases come from superstars; other times, they are from up-and-coming artists.
And 2026 is shaping up to be a big year for rap releases. We are expecting Iceman from Drake, Baby Boi from Playboi Carti, The Fall Off from J. Cole, as well as new albums from Yeat, Travis Scott, Baby Keem, and more.
So, we decided to get our HipHopHeads on Reddit on and publish a running calendar of releases coming the year.

ASAP Rocky, Don’t Be Dumb
Ironically, the title of ASAP Rocky’s second studio album, At. Long. Last. ASAP, encapsulates the excitement for Rakim Meyers’ long-overdue fourth LP. Lead single ‘Punk Rocky’ seems to indicate the rapper venturing further into experimental territory, building on the exploratory sound he first dabbled with on 2018’s Testing.
DaBaby, Be More Grateful
DaBaby kicked off the year by announcing his new album, Be More Grateful, his first full-length project since 2024. He also released the video for ‘DON’T INSULT ME’, a new single which features his daughter Serenity in the video.
Dee Mula, Suffering from Success
Memphis rapper Dee Mula scored one of last year’s biggest rap hits with ‘Blow My High’, which went viral on TikTok. His new album, Suffering from Success, looks to build on that momentum.
Queen Key, Hard
After touring with GloRilla last year, Chicago veteran Queen Key returns with her new album, Hard. The cover pays homage to OG rap icon Lil’ Kim.
Lexa Gates, I Am
One of the most creative young rapper-singers, Lexa Gates is getting ready to drop her sophomore album, led by the moody single, ‘Estranged.’

After being two of the highlights in the Verzuz vs. No Limit, Juvenile and Mannie Fresh are looking to recapture the magic of 400 Degreez with their new album, Boiling Point.

Maryland-raised rapper .idk.’s new mixtape E.T.D.S. stands for Even the Devil Smiles. The project reflects on the years he spent incarcerated, from ages 17 to 20.
